The line of Aiello jams and marmalades is mainly based on the rediscovery and selection of citrus fruits belonging to ancient Cultivars from Calabria such as the “Moro”, “Biondo” or “Ovale” oranges, which, although today tend to be abandoned, have made the history of Calabrian citrus growing. Indeed, these varieties are linked to stories of landscapes, work, men, and traditions. This philosophy has as its primary objective to encourage companies that grow these fruits, with the aim of enhancing biodiversity and helping to preserve a unique genetic heritage. In addition to these, other typical crops such as clementines, bergamot, figs, and lemons are also used.
